I am a Fire Chief by trade, and a fantasy author by passion. When I was 13 years old, I sat down at the roll playing game table for my first adventure, and I was immediately and forever hooked! I was fascinated by the “theatre of the mind” as we travelled through wonderful and terrifying worlds of might, magic, and mystery. I was always the note-taker of the group and it quickly developed into a hobby of creating short stories of our exploits. Somehow, over thirty years have now passed since I took my first fateful steps in those fantasy worlds, and it is hard to believe that they have led to the current path that I am on today. Many of those fond memories of exciting adventures have heavily inspired the writing of this book, and have created within me a deep desire to contribute something very meaningful and worthy to the genre that I have come to love.
